The Next Generation in Freezing Bags for Cryogenic Storage
The Cell Freeze ® cryogenic storage containers are specifically made to efficiently store, preserve, and transfer hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPC’s). These containers have the ability to withstand temperature variations experienced during routine storage of HPC’s. These containers passed the physical integrity tests performed including the initial pressure test and leak tests and microbial challenge and dye immersion tests.

Cell Freeze ® cell quality was assessed using diluted HPC and 10% DMSO. Prior to cryopreservation, all storage containers met the acceptance requirements for MNC and CD34+ cell recovery of >70% relative to cell counts of the sample, with the average cell recovery for MNC and CD34+ cell recoveries being 81% and 84%, respectively. All containers met ≥ 1 CFU acceptance criteria with an average of 78% recovery.
