The Safe-T-Vue is a heat-sensitive indicator that sticks directly to the blood bags and provides clear, direct-contact monitoring. The Safe-T-Vue 6 is for intraoperative storage (<6°C), and the Safe-T-Vue 10 is for transport (<10°C). When temperatures exceed safe limits, the indicator changes color from white to red, and the change is irreversible, allowing clinicians to know if a blood product at a glance has been compromised.
