The Safe-T-Vue 6 is designed for intraoperative storage temperatures below 6°C, and the Safe-T-Vue 10 is intended for transport at temperatures below 10°C. When temperatures exceed safe limits, the indicator changes color from white to red. This change is irreversible, allowing clinicians to quickly determine at-a-glance if a blood has been compromised.
