One Device. Four Life-Saving Applications.
Uncontrolled hemorrhage remains one of the leading causes of preventable death in trauma care, particularly when bleeding occurs in areas not amenable to standard limb tourniquets.¹
The Abdominal Aortic and Junctional Tourniquet-Stabilized (AAJT-S) from Compression Works was developed to address these critical gaps in hemorrhage control.
Hemorrhage Control Where Standard Tourniquets Cannot Be Applied
The AAJT-S is FDA-cleared for four application sites: abdominal, axillary, inguinal, and pelvic stabilization. It is the only external, noninvasive device cleared for abdominal aortic compression—providing rapid hemorrhage control without surgical access or imaging.
The AAJT-S Has Four Cleared Applications:
- Abdominal Application – Provides control of arterial blood flow to the pelvis, groin, and lower extremities.
- Inguinal Application – Controls hemorrhage in the inguinal region when limb tourniquets cannot be applied.
- Axillary Application – Controls hemorrhage in the axillary region where traditional extremity tourniquets are ineffective.
- Pelvic Stabilization – Provides circumferential mechanical stabilization of pelvic fractures while supporting hemorrhage control.
