    Traditional Bag-Valve-Mask (BVM) systems typically require multiple bag sizes: adult, pediatric, and infant. In the chaos of a code, trauma response, or prehospital emergency, providers must quickly identify the correct device size, locate it, and begin ventilation.     • Built-In Rate Control
      One of the ButterflyBVM’s most innovative features is its bellows, which inflates more slowly than traditional BVM designs. This built-in rate control helps discourage excessive ventilation rates that can negatively affect circulation and cerebral blood flow during resuscitation.
    • Variable Pressure Control
      The ButterflyBVM includes an adjustable Peak Inspiratory Pressure (PIP) dial that allows caregivers to select maximum pressure settings without requiring a separate manometer. Improved pressure control helps reduce the risk of excessive airway pressures associated with barotrauma and gastric insufflation.
