Inadequate endotracheal tube securement may lead to serious complications like cardiac arrest, brain damage, ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP), and facial injuries.

The HORSESHOE endotracheal tube securement device is designed to reduce the risks of unplanned extubations and tube dislodgements by locking the ET tube securely in place with both a primary and secondary clamping mechanism. The device can be paired with a supplemental strap to prevent accidental removal during patient movement.
