When an ET Tube is Not an Option, This Intubating Laryngeal Airway is your Solution
The all-silicone Air-Q®3 intubating laryngeal airways (ILA) from AirLife are designed with patient safety and ease of use in mind. Suited as an aid for intubation in difficult airway situations when an endotracheal tube is desired, the Air-Q3 is also indicated for use as a primary airway in applications which do not require an endotracheal tube.
At times, emergency responders are in situations where it can be too difficult or too risky to intubate a patient using an endotracheal tube and another option is needed – quickly.
The Air-Q3 ILA is an Effective Solution for Emergency Airways
The Air-Q3 supraglottic airway delivers safety and confidence in airway management, no matter what airway challenges you face. The intuitive and advanced design helps provide perfect placement quickly and efficiently. The unique cuff and bowl design of the Air-Q3 includes an epiglottis elevator and raised heal to optimize airway placement and seal.
The Air-Q3 ILA series includes self-pressurizing and gastric models in a wide range of sizes including neonates. All models are latex-free, single-patient use, disposable and come with a removable tethered color-coded connector for easy size identification.
