How the HandyCTH Works
- A sensor takes the person’s temperature and displays the result on a built-in tablet
- If the temperature is normal, the person is visually and verbally instructed to sanitize their hands utilizing the built-in UV-C light box (HandyBox)
- When the person’s hands are sanitized, doors open so the person can enter
- If the temperature is not normal, the person is visually and verbally instructed to step back and the doors will not open
- An optional alert can be sent to staff indicating the presence of a temperature-elevated person
