Sea-Long Oxygen Treatment Hoods deliver pressurized oxygen-rich air to help patients in respiratory distress breathe easier, minimizing the dependence on traditional invasive ventilators. Compared to intubation and machine ventilation, the hoods are proven to shorten recovery time, do not require sedation and allow patients to be awake and speak.
The two-piece design consists of the hood and a patented non-latex neck seal. The system can be assembled by one person, allowing airway access in less than 10 seconds. The hoods are MRI compatible and can be used with most ventilators, Bi-Pap, CPAP, wall air and O2. Pediatric and Adult sizes are available.
