Flusso TFI for Safer Circuit Disconnects
Flusso TFI for Safer Circuit Disconnects
The Flusso TFI allows for the temporary interruption of gas flow to facilitate a safe ventilator circuit disconnection for patients requiring mechanical ventilation. The patient’s positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) is maintained and staff exposure to exhaled aerosols is reduced, enhancing patient and staff safety.
Clamping is for Umbilical Cords, Not Endotracheal Tubes
The device is an alternative to clamping which can damage the endotracheal tube and risk patient safety.
The TFI is easy to use and must be manually operated in the hands of a trained clinician.
Flusso TFI Highlights
- Accommodates standard endotracheal tubes, inline suction catheters, HMEs and heated wire circuits
